My story with the sea

I started scuba diving at 8 years old & immediately
fell in love with the mesmerizing beauty of the ocean.

  • A decade of diving experience, over 200 dives in various locales

  • Certified PADI Rescue & Aware Diver who wants
    to make a difference

Exploring the ocean and its depths – captivating caverns, enchanting marine life, & spellbinding topographical landscapes – has allowed me to discover a whole new world, one that needs to be protected. Driven by my love for everything blue, I founded Kaia Initiative at the end of 2023.

As a youth diver, I hope to share my passion for the ocean with others & help to build the next generation of ocean leaders so that we can work towards a more beautiful future for our blue planet.

Passionate about:
- youth representation & inclusion in international decision-making
- sparking intergenerational conversations
- manta ray conservation
- environmental equity & education for coastal communities
- ocean storytelling & communication

  • Kaia Initiative is a youth community that aims to inspire & educate young people about scuba diving and marine conservation.

  • We strive to grow a collective of like-minded young people to do our part to save the ocean and empower youth voices to make change.

  • At Kaia Initiative, we strongly believe that in order to love and protect the ocean, one must first see it and understand it.

  • Harnessing hands-on, immersive experiences for individuals to witness the fragile beauty of the ocean firsthand, understand what’s at stake, & realize that it’s worth protecting.
